CHINAPLAS 2025 Exhibition is Coming!

2025-04-07

"CHINAPLAS 2025 International Rubber and Plastics Exhibition" will be held from April 15 to 18, 2025, at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao’an).

Focusing on sustainability and innovation, the exhibition will bring together industry leaders to address pressing challenges, explore new opportunities, and encourage enterprises to enhance cost-effectiveness through high-performance solutions, jointly creating a sustainable future.

Sustainable Plastic Packaging Forum

To address the challenges of sustainable development in plastic packaging, the organizer of CHINAPLAS, in collaboration with the China Packaging Federation, will launch a high-profile business exchange forum in the field of plastic packaging during the exhibition.

The forum will gather representatives from authoritative packaging institutions and leading enterprise experts from both domestic and international markets to discuss sustainable development of the industry from a global perspective and release the latest sustainable packaging solutions.

In the "Buyer Talk" session, packaging managers from well-known brands will share their concerns on materials and processes, as well as the difficulties and pain points they face in innovative packaging development. This interactive setting aims to efficiently connect stakeholders across the industry chain—including brand owners, manufacturers, and suppliers of materials and equipment.

Building a Circular Plastic Economy Towards a Sustainable Future

To keep pace with the trends in plastic recycling and circular economy, the "6th CHINAPLAS x CPRJ Plastics Recycling & Circular Economy Conference and Showcase," co-organized by CHINAPLAS 2025 and AdsaleCPRJ.com, will make a powerful return to Shenzhen on April 14, 2025 (the day before the exhibition opens).

This rich and comprehensive event will explore topics around the plastics economy and recycling. It will feature multiple parallel thematic forums, popular topic salons, reports and results presentations, live media interviews, and full-day displays of sustainable innovations across the value chain, including demonstrations of advanced materials and processing technologies for recycled plastics—all aimed at advancing the plastic recycling industry.

It is expected that more than 60 speakers from China, the United States, Europe, Southeast Asia, and other regions will participate and share insights into the plastics recycling market and technologies across industries such as packaging, automotive, textiles, 3C electronics, leisure and fashion, food and beverage, healthcare, retail, and food delivery.

Live Production Line Demonstrations

As the issue of global plastic waste becomes increasingly serious and environmental regulations tighten worldwide, the plastics recycling industry is facing unprecedented development opportunities.

CHINAPLAS 2025 will spotlight this hot trend by launching a concurrent event—"The Plastics Circularity Journey" Production Line Demonstrations. Centered around the theme of a circular plastic economy, this live demonstration will showcase the high-value utilization and high-tech production processes in plastic recycling.

Two production lines will focus on the themes:

(1) “Closed-loop Recycling x PET Food-Grade Recycling”

(2) “Turning Waste into Treasure x High-Value PE Recycling”

The “Closed-loop Recycling x PET Food-Grade Recycling” demonstration will include six key processes: material sorting, extrusion pelletizing, metal detection, underwater pelletizing, solid-state polycondensation, and injection-blow molding. This will be the first time the complete process of PET closed-loop recycling is presented live at the exhibition.

The “Turning Waste into Treasure x High-Value PE Recycling” line will focus on the recycling of PE, showcasing the process from post-consumer daily chemical bottles through crushing, washing, drying, sorting, and re-pelletizing.

Three recycling equipment suppliers—Junno, Laufuer, and SML—will carry out live demonstrations on-site, providing a vivid showcase of the circular economy value of PE plastics.

China’s manufacturing industry is undergoing a critical transformation and its global competitiveness is significantly improving. This transformation brings both new opportunities and challenges to the rubber and plastics industry.
