Agrochemical formulations often contain highly active organic solvents, emulsifiers, and surfactants that easily permeate standard polyethylene (HDPE) containers. This permeation leads to container deformation (panelling), weight loss of the product, and dangerous exposure to the environment. Integrating a thin EVOH barrier layer inside co-extruded HDPE bottles provides absolute containment, preserving chemical concentrations and ensuring structural durability during long-term storage.
Under strict global environmental standards (such as EPA and Euro 6 regulations), evaporative fuel emissions from vehicles must be kept close to zero.
